Items included in the collection are Onesimus Whitehead's ledger book of personal, farm and lumber accounts from 1784-1815, as well as land and property transaction documentation (deeds, indentures, mortgages, and quitclaims) for Morristown, Morris Township and Mendham Township. Of particular interest are Bills of Sale for African-Americans in 1811 and 1815.
